Fair use policy
How the allowances on our plans are meant to be used, so that the service stays good for everyone.
Last updated: 6 October 2026
What this policy covers
Each plan lists what it includes: data, EU roaming data, calls, and for fibre the download and upload speeds. This policy explains how those allowances are meant to be used. It is part of our terms of service.
For your household
Plans are for personal use by you and your household. Do not resell a service, share it outside your household, or use it to run a commercial service.
Do not use a service for anything unlawful, to send spam or bulk automated traffic, or in a way that harms our network or other customers.
“Unlimited”
Where a plan says unlimited data, calls or usage, it means no fixed monthly cap for normal personal use, within this policy.
EU roaming
A mobile plan's EU roaming data allowance is for use while you travel. It is shown on each plan.
Fibre speeds
The speed on a fibre plan is the top speed of the connection. The speed you see on a device also depends on your wiring, Wi-Fi, the device and how busy the service you connect to is.
Usage outside your plan
Anything outside what your plan includes appears as a separate, described line on your bill. Usage figures in My Wavirel are recorded by our team and are not live.
What we do if use is outside this policy
If we see use that is clearly outside this policy, we contact you by email first to explain and give you the chance to change it. Only if it continues may we suggest a more suitable plan or, as a last resort, suspend the service.
